I’m currently recruiting for a Hygiene Supervisor to join a well-established food manufacturer in the South Wales area. This is a great opportunity to step into a hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced production environment where quality, safety, and continuous improvement are key.

You’ll provide first-line leadership to the hygiene/operational support team, ensuring safe, compliant delivery of hygiene and GMP standards across your shift. You’ll take ownership of your area, driving performance, maintaining audit-ready standards, and supporting efficient production.

  • Leading, briefing, and coordinating hygiene activities across shift
  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene, GMP, COSHH, and safety standards
  • Monitoring KPIs and addressing performance or compliance issues proactively
  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce waste

Experience in hygiene supervision within food manufacturing or a similar fast-paced environment is required. Food Safety Level 2 and IOSH Supervising Safely (or similar) preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, COSHH, and hygiene best practice is essential.
