Alexander Steele Recruitment is partnering with a premium Scottish food and hospitality business to recruit a talented Chef de Partie for a high-quality kitchen operation based in Moray. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious chef looking to develop their career within a professional and fast-paced environment focused on quality produce and exceptional customer experience.

The Chef de Partie will take responsibility for managing a designated kitchen section, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, hygiene, and operational efficiency:

  • Manage a designated section of the kitchen and maintain high food quality standards.
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with menu development and daily operations.
  • Supervise and support junior kitchen staff during service.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, allergen, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
  • Maintain stock rotation, portion control, and minimise waste.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role within a professional kitchen is required, along with a strong understanding of food safety, allergen management, and kitchen operations. Experience working in a fast-paced hospitality environment is essential, as is a passion for high-quality food and attention to detail. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and busy periods, is necessary. An Intermediate Food Hygiene certification is also required.
