About the Business: Alexander Steele are working on a retained basis with an English award winning wine producer. The business has a fantastic range of quality products. They are growing in the on & off trade channels. This role is expanding the team.
Your duties will include new business creation, particularly in developing long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships and helping to support trade accounts in channels including but not limited to hotel and restaurant groups, independent premium casual dining and fine dining outlets, independent retail, and caterers.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development of on and off trade accounts both direct and indirect.
- Manage both independent outlets and regional group negotiations.
- Deliver listings, distribution, and rate of sale initiatives in line with brand guidelines.
- Understand the region and key customers with existing relationships.
- Work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends.
- Deliver account management and growth plans across a variety of sectors.
- Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to build brand knowledge and increase customer loyalty.
- Assist in delivery of creative marketing solutions, tastings, wine training and customer focused marketing events to drive brand engagement.
- Work with key partners to understand their business needs and goals for strategic partnerships.
- Create and deliver sales pitches and tender documents where required.
- Provide customers with excellent levels of service and support.
