The Role:

As Quality Manager, you’ll lead the Quality Control team and be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained across the factory floor. This role is key to delivering on customer expectations, managing technical compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the QC team on the factory floor to ensure adherence to internal and customer-specific quality standards.
  • Ensure site compliance with BRCGS and customer accreditation standards.
  • Support the quality assessment of raw materials, goods in storage, and throughout the production process, ensuring specifications are met and traceability is maintained.
  • Oversee training of QC operators in the use of the Quality Assurance Manual and relevant systems across all stages – Intake, Online, and Dispatch.
  • Take the lead on technical and customer audits, and manage communication with external stakeholders including samples and documentation.
  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Plan and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the quality function.
  • Manage quality staffing levels and recruitment as needed.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing management of HACCP.
