A food manufacturer based in Leeds are looking to hire a Packaging Technologist.
This role sits within their Procurement Team, and you will work alongside another packaging technologist and team admin on site.
Salary:
The business is open to Junior level candidates all the way to more senior well established Packaging Technologists
- Senior Level candidates – Up to £55,000 on a 1–2-year contract
- Junior Level – 35,000 – £45,000 on a permanent basis
- Monday – Friday – 40 hours per week
- Work from home day on Fridays
- 33 days annual leave
Duties:
- To take ownership of the design, development & manufacture of packaging for a range of ambient & long-life food products.
- To support with technical and operational expertise to ensure effective & efficient management of packaging through the business.
- To develop cost savings initiatives.
- To lead the development, trialling and launch of innovative and sustainable packaging materials which fit current & future business needs
The ideal candidate for this role will have a knowledge and experience of packaging specifically laminates
