Job Description

Alexander Steele Recruitment have, exclusively, partnered with a well-known food manufacturer, in the West Midlands, who are currently looking to recruit a new Site Manufacturing Manager. The company has earned a loyal customer base and a strong customer presence in both food service and retail.

  • Salary of £70,000 – £80,000 depending on experience.

The Site Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of day to day plant operations, ensuring the highest standards of product quality, customer service, health and safety and business performance against budget. This role requires a hands-on leader with a passion for food, excellent organisational skills, and a proven track record managing in a successful food manufacturing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Inspire, lead, and develop a team of 100 production, packing and hygiene staff. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily operations including production schedules, inventory management and quality control.
  • Customer Focus: Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Factory / Manufacturing / Production Manager or similar role in a food production environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations.
