Hours: 4 on 4 off, 5:30am to 16:30pm

We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Manufacturing Assistant to support the day-to-day running of our prepared food manufacturing process. This role plays a vital part in ensuring efficient production planning, accurate stock control, and smooth communication across departments. The role:

  • Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, you’ll be responsible for generating production schedules, tracking key performance metrics, and managing stock control processes across the site.
  • You’ll ensure the right products are made at the right time by coordinating factory outputs, monitoring stock levels, and supporting production planning and inventory reconciliation.
  • You’ll also help maintain compliance by updating SOPs and supporting operational documentation.

What we are looking for:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting (FMCG experience preferred)
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to analyse and interpret data
  • Experience with stock control, ordering, and inventory management processes
  • Understanding of safe working practices and operational compliance
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage across departments
