Position: Maintenance Manager

Alexander Steele is working with a leading food manufacturing business in Buckinghamshire. Our client is looking for a forward-thinking Maintenance & Facilities Manager to join the business on a permanent basis. The role involves ensuring the upkeep of equipment and facilities, scheduling repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to maximize operational efficiency and minimize downtime.

What’s on Offer:

  • Paying up to £60,000 + 10% bonus
  • 28 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Onsite Monday – Friday (flexibility with hours)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert troubleshooting and problem-solving for equipment malfunctions or failure.
  • Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring costs stay within approved limits.
  • Analyze maintenance data and performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Oversee daily operations of building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and security.
  • Provide professional leadership, support, and development to team members and stakeholders.
  • Require 5+ years’ experience in maintenance/facilities management within a similar environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proven track record of leading and motivating teams.
