Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a well-established FMCG business to recruit a Packaging Development Manager for their site in Leeds. You’ll play a key role in driving innovation, cost optimisation, and sustainability, while working cross-functionally to deliver packaging solutions from concept through to factory implementation.
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative packaging solutions aligned to business and category strategy.
- Manage end-to-end packaging projects, from concept design through to production and launch.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Production, Technical, Engineering, and Commercial to ensure seamless delivery.
- Work closely with suppliers and OEMs to stay at the forefront of packaging technology and innovation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise cost, performance, and efficiency.
- Manage specifications and ensure all packaging meets legislative requirements.
