We have partnered with a leading manufacturing business dedicated to excellence in quality and innovation. With a rich history this business takes pride in their commitment to our employees and its customers. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional to join our team as the Head of Human Resources at their site in Jarrow.

The roleAs the HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our organisation\’s success. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that support our business objectives, foster a positive workplace culture, and enhance the employee experience. You will be a key partner in attracting, retaining, and developing top talent.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs to meet organisational goals.

Oversee all aspects of talent acquisition, including recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.

Manage employee relations, ensuring a positive and respectful work environment.

Lead performance management and talent development initiatives.

Administer compensation and benefits programs.

Drive diversity and inclusion efforts.

Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Develop and maintain HR metrics to drive data‐based decision‐making.

The candidate

At least 5 years of HR leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of HR best practices, laws, and regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to build and lead high‐performing HR teams.

Strategic thinking and problem‐solving skills.
