A well-established food manufacturing business is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator to support safe working practices across a busy production facility. The Role

Reporting into the HS&E Manager, you will support the delivery of health, safety and environmental standards across site, ensuring compliance with legislation and internal procedures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting site audits and safety inspections
  • Supporting risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Assisting with accident, incident and near-miss investigations
  • Supporting ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
  • Delivering toolbox talks and safety training
  • Monitoring and reporting HS&E performance data
  • Promoting a positive health & safety culture across the business
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, or a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or willing to work towards)
  • Understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • A proactive and organised approach
  • Confidence engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the business
