Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days) – 5:30am start, 11-hour shifts
Salary: £25.58 per hour + overtime paid at £31.98 per hour

We’re working with a well-established food manufacturer in the Lancashire area who are looking to add a Multi Skilled Engineer to their engineering team. This is a hands-on role supporting a fast-paced manufacturing site, focused on reactive maintenance, PPMs, fault finding and continuous improvement across both packaging and process equipment.
- Reactive and proactive maintenance across a range of packaging & process machinery
- Support production teams to maximise line performance and efficiency
- Maintain engineering paperwork/logs for breakdowns and PPM history
- Identify spares requirements and help maintain stock levels
- Support machinery upgrades, improvement projects and site maintenance
- Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, allergen controls and hygiene standards
- Recognised engineering / maintenance qualification
- Experience within food / FMCG manufacturing (or similar fast-paced environment)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and diagnose faults
- Good understanding of H&S, Food Safety and BRC standards
- Competitive hourly rate with strong overtime earnings
