I am working in partnership with an innovative and fast-growing food manufacturer to recruit an Engineering Team Leader for their site in Nottingham. This is a hands-on leadership role within a high-performing FMCG environment, where you’ll take responsibility for engineering performance, reliability, and continuous improvement across a fast-paced production facility.
- Lead and support a team of multi-skilled engineers, driving performance, engagement, and development.
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive breakdown support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults across high-speed production and packaging equipment.
- Work closely with the Engineering Manager to drive a positive and high-performing team culture.
- Support and deliver engineering projects including installations, upgrades, and modifications.
- Carry out fault finding and modifications on PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and control panels.
- Ensure all engineering activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with site standards.
- Drive continuous improvement across plant performance, reliability, and downtime reduction.
