Alexander Steele Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading FMCG manufacturing business to recruit a Reliability Engineer for their site in East Kilbride.
This is a key engineering role focused on improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime and driving preventative and proactive maintenance across the site.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive reliability improvements across plant and equipment
- Analyse breakdowns and identify root causes
- Develop and improve preventative maintenance strategies
- Support continuous improvement and engineering projects
- Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to improve OEE and reduce downtime
- Use maintenance data and CMMS systems to identify trends and opportunities
The ideal candidate:
- Engineering qualification or equivalent experience
- Previous reliability, maintenance or engineering experience within FMCG/manufacturing
- Strong understanding of RCA, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement
- Practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills
