Demand Planner

Location: Edinburgh Area

Salary: Up to £37,000

Our client are seeking an experienced Demand & Supply Planner to join a growing team. This role combines data‑driven forecasting with strong communication skills to ensure stock availability while minimising waste and working capital risk. You’ll also be responsible for setting up and maintaining product data across multiple systems and sales platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure product availability.
  • Monitor sales performance and forecast demand, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Build strong supplier relationships to ensure accurate forecasts and timely deliveries.
  • Support new product launches, promotions, and marketing activity with accurate stock planning.
  • Maintain accurate product information across internal systems and e‑commerce platforms.

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a demand planning role within retail or FMCG.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability.
  • Experience managing product data and listings on e‑commerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of Amazon Seller Central or Shopify is desirable.

Detail‑oriented, proactive, and highly organised, with excellent communication skills.
