This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for quality, innovation, and continuous improvement to join a successful business and make a real impact across manufacturing operations.
Working closely with production, quality, and commercial teams, you will help ensure products consistently meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer expectation while contributing to new product development and process enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical point of contact for production teams, helping to resolve process issues and maintain smooth daily operations.
- Prepare and manage technical documentation including product specifications, reports, and compliance records.
- Complete routine product inspections, tastings, and evaluations to ensure consistent quality standards are achieved.
- Drive improvement projects aimed at reducing waste, increasing efficiencies, and improving overall product yield.
- Support and maintain food safety controls, including HACCP systems, monitoring checks, and risk management procedures.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding ingredient performance, quality expectations, and approval processes.
- Investigate customer complaints, quality deviations, and production issues, ensuring effective corrective actions are introduced.
- Contribute to the development of new and existing ambient product lines, identifying opportunities for enhancement and innovation.
- Organise and oversee factory trials, ensuring successful introduction of products into full-scale manufacture.
- Monitor compliance with legal requirements, internal standards, and customer specifications at all times.
- Assist during customer visits, external audits, and supplier assessments as required.
About You:
- Degree qualified in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in a similar role within food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of food safety systems and quality standards such as HACCP and BRC.
- Experience supporting audits and handling technical queries with a good understanding of shelf-life, stability, and sensory evaluation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
