About the Role
With responsibility for a number of key customers, you will be the focal point for managing these relationships on behalf of the business. You will be part of the Sales function and responsible for driving the performance of both private label products and the company’s branded portfolio within your customer base. Support will be provided by an experienced in-house team, as well as specialists from across the wider group.
Key Customer Responsibilities
- Manage the interface between the business and customers across Buying, NPD, Supply Chain, Finance, and Category teams
- Ensure all customer quotations meet company margin requirements and address any cost implications or sensitivities
- Identify, develop, and manage strong relationships with key accounts
- Present, promote, and sell products using clear, compelling commercial arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay informed on industry trends
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and market intelligence to internal stakeholders
- Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as required
- Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and concerns to maintain high levels of satisfaction
Your Role Will Involve

- Managing key customer relationships and commercial negotiations across both private label and branded business

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related discipline
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Highly self-motivated with excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AI-enabled applications
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally as required
- Full UK driving licence
