Category Analyst
Alexander Steele Recruitment is working in partnership with our client who is an Award Winning Beverage Manufacturer.
On Offer:
- Salary up to ÂŁ40K + bonus
- Hybrid working (up to 2 days a week WFH), Hertfordshire office.
- Ideally looking for the successful candidate to have over 1 year experience within a similar role within the food, drink or FMCG industry, and knowledge of Nielsen or Dunnhumby.
The Category Analyst will provide support, analysis, category trends and insights for the client\’s sales and management teams, shareholders, suppliers and customers.
The Role – Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Sales teams to create customer performance updates.
- Create compelling data and insight-led proposals for key customers.
- Track market performance and competitor activity including pricing and promotional strategies.
- Identify trends, opportunities and threats in the market.
- Become an expert with industry data (including Nielsen/Circana and Dunnhumby), tracking performance, identifying trends and opportunities.
- Utilise our own internal sales data to track and measure performance by channel.
- Support the Brand Management team with market performance information to share with partners.
- Track performance and ROI of our marketing initiatives with our key customers.
Experience & Skills Required:
- 1-2 years’ experience working with category data
- Working knowledge of Nielsen or Dunnhumby data
- Analysis of data into actional insights
