Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a well-established food manufacturing business to recruit a Quality Manager based in Bradford. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving food safety, quality standards, and legal compliance across the site.
- Lead and manage all aspects of Food Safety, Quality, and Legal Compliance across the site.
- Maintain and continuously improve the Food Safety & Quality Management Systems, ensuring BRC Grade A certification is achieved and sustained.
- Oversee site hygiene standards, including management of pest control processes.
- Drive effective root cause analysis and close-out of non-conformances, implementing preventative actions.
- Develop and deliver Food Safety and Quality training across both technical and operational teams.
- Provide technical support to site projects, including NPD, continuous improvement, and new equipment installations.
- Ensure all site developments are embedded into Food Safety and Quality systems.
- Lead crisis management and product recall processes, ensuring best practice and rapid response capability.
- Manage customer audits, sampling sessions, and drive continuous product quality improvements.
- Maintain brand integrity in line with business standards and customer expectations.
Monday to Friday working pattern (40 hours) ~33 days annual leave.
