Working as part of a UK Operations Training team, this role is responsible for the end-to-end training experience at site, including induction (Day 1, 30, 60, 90), operational skills development and compliance training. The role ensures the training matrix remains accurate, supports managers in meeting statutory requirements, and drives a consistent training standard across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver structured blended training programmes, including site induction and operational skills training.
- Support the development and maintenance of training materials, SOPs and on-the-job training plans.
- Coach and assess colleagues to confirm competence in critical tasks.
- Deliver internal train-the-trainer programmes.
Training Governance & Compliance
- Maintain the site training matrix and ensure all mandatory and role-specific training is completed.
- Coordinate health & safety, technical, environmental and compliance training.
- Ensure training aligns with company policies and operational standards.
Records, Reporting & Audits
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure audit readiness.
- Produce training KPI reports and highlight risks or overdue training.
- Support internal and external audits where required.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, HSE, Technical, Engineering and HR to prioritise training needs.
- Manage training schedules, bookings and external providers.
- Support colleague development and continuous learning.
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience delivering blended training within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong presentation, facilitation and coaching skills.
- Excellent organisation, planning and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and learning management systems.
- Understanding of H&S, compliance and audit requirements.

- Level 3 Train the Trainer
- Level 3 HACCP / Food Safety
- Internal Auditor qualification
