TC Alexander Sloan are looking for motivated, hardworking individuals to join our vibrant team. We are offering a full-time three year training contract that will give you accounting, auditing and analytical skills you need for a career in accountancy. We are typically looking for candidates that are currently in their final year at university or recent graduates with a relevant degree.
This job will start early July 2026.
Each trainee will gain experience in accounting and external audit. Each ACCA student can be assured of involvement in a variety of sectors, providing an excellent platform on which to build their professional careers.
If you have a relevant University degree – or are studying towards one – then apply today! We expect those that are applying to have a relevant degree that will entitle them to a minimum of 6 exam exemptions at ACCA. You must check your possible exemption status on the ACCA website prior to applying. We also require you to live within daily commuting distance of our Glasgow office.
We intend the selection process will take place during February 2026 and will be in three stages:
- We will shortlist candidates based on the appropriateness of their CV and Q&A.
- We will ask the shortlisted candidates to complete an online aptitude test; this will be sent via Canditech – our aptitude testing platform. During the aptitude test, we will ask the candidates to record a couple of video-based questions. In addition, you will be required to film a 3 minute presentation. You will be given advance notice of the topic.
- Successful applicants will then be invited to an in-person interview. The interview with our Staff Partner and Senior Audit Manager.
