Specialist – Talent Sourcing with Dutch - MSD

Location: Belfast, United Kingdom

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full time

Job type: Permanent

Key Accountabilities

  • Full utilization of relevant ATS ensuring all activities are conducted within the ATS, maintaining data accuracy and quality throughout processes.
  • Engage with Recruiters and Hiring Managers (as directed) to take detailed briefs on role requirements, contributing knowledge and best practice to add value to discussions.
  • Proactively source candidates using a broad range of channels and techniques (e.g., search engines, job board databases, social networking sites) while employing innovative techniques to identify elusive talent in the market.
  • Develop own network of sector‑specific candidates and utilize networking skills to identify and engage with talented candidates (e.g., referrals from referrals, cold‑calling, etc.).
  • Engage with identified candidates to qualify suitability for the role, sell the role and prospective client, and encourage candidates to actively apply for the role.
  • Build and develop talent pools of qualified candidates, managing candidate communications to keep pools relevant.
  • Maintain regular communication with Client Services team to understand ongoing requirements and share progress of activity.
  • Update applicant records in the ATS with rejections or transfer suitable candidates to talent pools for future reference as directed.
  • Maintain agreed service levels and targets.
  • Appropriately escalates any issues related to supply effectiveness.
  • Screen and qualify candidates upon application to determine suitability and obtain required information (e.g., availability, permission to represent). Create long‑lists for recruitment services as appropriate.

Skills & Requirements

  • Fluent Dutch, both written and spoken.
  • Strong sourcing skills with the ability to identify and engage blue‑collar talent across manufacturing, production, warehouse, and skilled trades.
  • Knowledge of blue‑collar talent markets and effective sourcing channels.
  • Proficiency in ATS, CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other sourcing tools.
  • Ability to attract and engage both active and passive candidates through social media, networking, and direct sourcing.
  • Skilled in talent mapping, pipeline building, and market research.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to build effective partnerships with recruiters, hiring managers, and business leaders.
