We are looking for a Project Manager (Supply Chain - P6) for a 12 Months contract based in Derby (minimum 3 days per week onsite) on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.
Job description - the role
As Project Manager with experience in Primavera P6, you will be responsible for driving delivery across a range of complex engineering and supply chain projects. Acting as a central figure within the team, you will ensure programme goals are met efficiently and with minimal supervision.
As a Project Manager (Supply Chain - P6) you will be responsible for:
- Lead the delivery of diverse project types including complex reactivations and transfer of modifications.
- Ensure successful execution of project timelines, risks, and milestones with minimal oversight.
- Collaborate closely within a team of 10 to drive project outcomes.
- Coordinate and liaise with supply chain stakeholders to align resources and resolve challenges.
- Adapt to evolving project needs and proactively resolve issues as they arise.
- Manage project documentation and support functional reporting as required.
What we require from the candidate:
- Extensive programme/project management experience in complex environments.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes.
- Solid experience using Primavera P6.
- Ability to work independently, show initiative, and manage competing priorities.
- Must be eligible for SC clearance.
- Technical background is a plus but not essential.
