Purpose of the role
We're looking for a Lead UI/Visual Designer to help shape the visual vision for a major digital transformation programme.
This role is focused on crafting intuitive, engaging and visually outstanding digital experiences, bringing concepts to life through exceptional interface design, interaction design and motion.
What you'll do
- Lead the UI and visual design direction across a large-scale digital product initiative.
- Create high-fidelity designs, prototypes and polished mobile-first experiences.
- Translate product and experience concepts into compelling, customer-focused interfaces.
- Define and evolve visual design patterns, interaction behaviours and design system components.
- Collaborate with Product Designers and cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Champion best practices in visual design, accessibility and design craft across the programme.
The skills you'll need
- Proven experience in a Lead UI Designer or Lead Visual Designer role on large-scale digital projects.
- Strong Financial Services experience, ideally within banking, fintech or other regulated environments.
- Exceptional visual design and UI craft, supported by a strong portfolio of digital product work.
- Extensive experience designing mobile applications across i OS and Android platforms.
- Experience leading the UI workstream on complex programmes, influencing design direction and standards.
- Strong expertise in interaction design, motion design, design systems and accessibility.
