On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for a

Java Developer for a 6 month contract based in London (3 days per week)/Remote (Hybrid).

Purpose of the role

We're seeking a

Java Developer to join the team responsible for Deutsche Bank's strategic Risk & Margin Calculation and Financial Contracts platform.

The platform is currently undergoing a major transformation programme.

This is an opportunity to work within a global agile team, taking ownership of complex feature delivery while contributing to the evolution of a large-scale, high-performance financial platform.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and enhance complex Java based applications and services.
  • Drive feature delivery end-to-end, from requirements clarification and solution design through to implementation, testing, and production handover.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and technical solution design.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, QA, Production Support, and business stakeholders.
  • Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
  • Participate in production support and non-production environment support rotations.
