  • 6 months contract based in

Edinburgh (Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office).

Join us as a UX/UI Product Designer (Mobile App).

As UX/UI Product Designer you will join a fast-paced product team working on a mobile application for end users.

This role offers a strong mix of UX and UI design, with the opportunity to take ownership as the sole designer on the product while collaborating with wider user research and development teams.

Your key responsibilities will include

  • Lead the end-to-end UX/UI design process, from research and wireframing to high-fidelity designs and prototypes.
  • Conduct and apply user research insights (eg usability testing, interviews, feedback analysis) to inform design decisions.
  • Design intuitive, engaging mobile app experiences using Figma and other visual design tools.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and wider design teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Ensure consistency with design systems while contributing improvements where needed.
  • Iterate designs based on user feedback, data insights, and evolving product requirements.

What you will bring to the role

  • Experience in UX/UI or product design.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma and modern design/prototyping tools (eg After Effects or equivalent).
  • Experience working with React Native products.
  • Ability to work independently and confidently as the sole designer on a product.
  • Understanding of designing for diverse user groups and different cultural contexts.
  • Interest in and openness to leveraging AI to enhance design processes and outcomes.
  • Experience working in Financial services industry.
