The role of the
Attraction and Event Manager in Campus Recruitment Marketing is to deliver agreed recruitment services in line with agreed service levels and campaigns.
This will involve taking responsibility for the conceptual design and execution of all campus events leveraging student insight data and market best practise to guide our strategy.
A key component of this role is end-to-end ownership of the EMEA wide campus events calendar and in collaboration with various counterparts, serve as the central point of contact for all events and recruitment marketing queries.
They will also engage and influence stakeholders, mobilising event staffing in consultation with the campus leads to support and represent at all events including panels, presentations, office visits, workshops, and careers fairs.
- Key Accountabilities
- Event Planning & Operational Excellence
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of campus recruitment events, including career fairs, presentations, webinars, office visits, networking events, and virtual engagement initiatives.
- Manage end-to-end event delivery, including content development, promotion, stakeholder management, logistics, speaker coordination, live event execution, and post-event follow-up activities.
- Ensure all event communications, marketing collateral, and branded materials are aligned with the employer value proposition (EVP) and brand standards.
- Develop event materials including presentations, briefing documents, event memos, and stakeholder communications.
- Manage event budgets, monitor spend, and ensure effective allocation of resources.
- Oversee merchandise selection, procurement, inventory, and distribution for recruitment events.
- Maintain centralized event tracking and staffing plans, ensuring accurate reporting and operational oversight.
- Measure event effectiveness through attendance, engagement, feedback, conversion rates, and ROI analysis, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Support annual reviews of campus activity performance and deliver data-driven insights to key stakeholders.
- Recruitment Marketing & Market Insights
- Collaborate with recruitment marketing teams to support social media, digital marketing, and event promotion strategies.
- Conduct market research, surveys, and competitor analysis to identify early careers and campus recruitment trends.
- Produce reports and insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness and optimize future recruitment marketing activities.
- Ensure a consistent and compelling employer brand presence across all campus engagement initiatives.
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with recruiters, hiring stakeholders, firm marketing, communications, compliance, and external partners.
- Act as a trusted advisor on campus recruitment events and engagement strategies.
- Provide regular updates and reporting to stakeholders, ensuring visibility of recruitment marketing activities and outcomes.
- Gather stakeholder and participant feedback to enhance service delivery and event impact.
- Escalate risks, issues, and operational challenges appropriately and proactively.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture aligned with organizational values.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and best-practice support to team members involved in event planning and execution.
- Share market intelligence, campaign results, and event success stories with the broader recruitment team.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and candidate engagement.
- Specialist Expertise & Continuous Improvement
- Apply expertise in event management, project management, budget management, and data analysis to deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Monitor emerging trends, technologies, suppliers, and innovations within the campus recruitment and events landscape.
- Identify and implement process improvements and service enhancements that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, compliance requirements, service level agreements (SLAs), and recruitment best practices.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of client business priorities and align event strategies to support talent acquisition objectives.

- Proven experience in event management, campus recruitment, recruitment marketing, employer branding, or early careers talent acquisition.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent events and campaigns.
- Experience planning and delivering virtual, hybrid, and in-person events from concept through execution and evaluation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across recruitment, marketing, communications, and business teams.
- Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing event metrics, reporting outcomes, and making recommendations based on insights.
- Experience managing budgets, event spend, vendors, merchandise, and logistics.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written communication and copywriting skills for event communications and marketing collateral.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, event management platforms, and reporting tools.
