On behalf of FCDO we are looking for an Oracle ERP Functional Consultant (Inside IR35) for a 9 month contract. Hybrid working based in London or Milton Keynes.
The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) pursues our national interests and projects the UK as a force for good in the world. You will be part of the ERP Team and reporting to the ERP Delivery Manager, working alongside the P2P and PPM functional leads as well as business colleagues to ensure the system is configured to meet client requirements and support business processes using standard functionality. Responsible for delivering Backlog Stabilisation and Enhancement changes and supporting the Oracle Finance (GL, FA, AR, AC, CM) functions of Hera Service, including reporting, integrations and data related to Finance.
You will contribute to resolving issues to optimize performance and providing technical support and training ERP end-users. You will be expected to provide development progress updates and documenting ERP processes. Being part of a team, you will be expected to provide support to others within the team and having general ERP experience will be of an advantage.
Essential:
. An active SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. (Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.)
. Experience of implementing ERP solutions.
. Demonstrable experience on designing and configuring GL, FA, AC, AR and CM.
. Understanding of cross module dependencies with Payroll, Payables and Projects.
. Demonstrable experience of developing complex functional designs covering for system functionality, reports, integrations, etc.
. Ability to work collaboratively with Solution Architects, Clients, CAP and system integrators, shaping the solution based on client requirements.
Desirable:
. Knowledge of other Oracle ERP modules beneficial - Payables, Procurement, Payments, Tax, Expenses or Projects.
. Experience of working in a large team including Business Process Owner, SMEs and Product Owners.
