On behalf of DWP, we are looking for an End User Computing Engineer for a 6 Month Contract (Inside IR35) based Hybrid in Manchester, Leeds or Newcastle. We are seeking an experienced End User Computing Engineer to join the team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, resilient services and building a user experience control center focused on performance.

As an End User Computing Engineer, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Deliver a digital workplace that enhances operational efficiency and user productivity.
  • Provide high-quality IT services and support to end-users.
  • Build and maintain a world-class performance-focused user experience control center.
  • Exploit and enhance hybrid cloud services to improve flexibility and scalability.
  • Protect and secure the services to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in end-user computing services.

Essential:

  • Substantial experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM), particularly Intune and Google Workspace.
  • Proven hands-on experience in configuring, managing, and owning the technical capability of MDM solutions.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in the MDM space.
  • Understanding of performance benchmarking, fault detection, and fault resolution.
  • Experience with SaaS service monitoring tools and controls for ensuring performance and reliability.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and services, particularly hybrid cloud environments.
  • SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks.

Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance. Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
