On behalf of HS2, we are looking for a Data Architect (Inside IR35) for a 6 Month contract based Hybrid in either the Birmingham or London Office.
As a Data Architect, your main responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for governance and management of data and information, working closely with IT Security and Assurance colleagues to ensure HS2 Information is managed safely, securely, and legally.
- To be accountable for planning, directing and coordinating activities with IPTs, Joint Ventures and Tier 1 contractors to ensure deliverables meet HS2 contractual requirements.
- Be accountable for developing HS2's enterprise data model, ensuring strategic alignment, and enabling integration with wider business and technology architectures.
- Be responsible for networking and communicating with senior stakeholders across HS2, proactively seeking out opportunities for digital transformation.
- Be responsible for assuring the quality of data, working with Information Asset Owners to agreed processes and standards.
Essential:
- Relational Data Modelling experience.
- SQL experience is a must.
- Azure Cloud experience.
- Data modelling in (SPARX is desirable).
Desirable:
- Relevant experience within the Construction or Transport sector.
Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
