On behalf of the Cabinet Office, we are looking for a Lead content designer Inside IR35 for a 6 months contract based hybrid Newcastle, Glasgow. The Cabinet Office supports the Prime Minister and ensures the effective running of government. The Cabinet Office is also the corporate headquarters for the government, in partnership with HM Treasury, and takes the lead in certain critical policy areas.
As a Lead Content Designer, your main responsibilities will be:
- Lead the delivery and implementation of content strategy across digital services.
- Create, manage and improve user-centred content that meets user needs and organisational objectives.
- Use analytics, user research and usability testing to inform content decisions and improve user experiences.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across policy, communications, legal, operations and digital teams.
- Map user journeys and user stories to support content strategy and design decisions.
- Maintain content quality by establishing standards, reviewing content and championing best practice.
- Support and develop content designers through guidance, coaching and constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the content design roadmap and act as an advocate for content design across the organisation.
