Your Role at a Glance As a Project Controls Practitioner, you’ll implement project controls best practices across cost, planning, and risk management. You’ll collaborate with task managers and stakeholders to ensure project success and quality outcomes. Key Accountabilities: * Provide credible and resilient project controls services, supporting Project Managers and Task Managers. * Implement best practices in cost control, estimating, and planning. * Ensure accurate project information for monitoring and reporting progress. What You’ll Do: * Develop project control deliverables such as cost forecasts, schedules, and reports. * Prepare monthly progress reports and maintain accuracy in planning systems. * Lead artefact creation, including cost estimates and risk assessments. * Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. * Assure the quality of project control outputs and drive continuous improvement. Keeping our nation, our environment, plus everyone and everything around us safe and secure is our top priority. So, as you would expect, that brings with it a high level of safety and security that you will see across our sites and in how everyone who works here operates. Before joining AWE, successful candidates will need to be granted security clearance. This will include a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and, dependent on the nature of the role, either Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV). Clearance can take several months, and each element is carried out by independent organisations – Sterling for BPSS, and UKSV for SC or DV
