Part Time Field Interviewer – Office for National Statistics (ONS)
12 month temporary contract, with potential extension
AMS is recruiting confident and people focused Field Interviewers to support the Office for National Statistics across multiple UK locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with the public, working independently, and contributing to research that shapes national policy.
What the role involves
- Visiting pre selected households chosen through a statistical sample (not volunteers).
- Conducting structured interviews and collecting accurate data using digital tools.
- Explaining the purpose of the study clearly and building rapport quickly.
- Managing your own schedule, travel, and admin tasks.
- Representing the ONS professionally in the community.
Pay and contract
- Start date: Once pre employment checks are completed
- Contract: 12 months, with potential to extend
