Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.
On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for an Insight Lead, Brand & Reputation for an initial 6-contract based in Edinburgh or London. It is a hybrid model
Purpose of the role:
This role offers a chance to lead brand and reputation insight strategy, driving marketing initiatives and insight projects that fuel brand growth, while developing your own leadership and innovation skills within the Customer Insight team.
What you'll do:
- Developing and delivering brand and reputation insight projects to monitor our performance, as well as ad-hoc projects to test creatives and campaign effectiveness
- Coordinating and reporting on the bank's brand and reputation related performance
- Working with a team of insight managers and analysts, bringing together a range of insights to help inform the market and competitive landscape
- Engaging with internal brand and reputation teams to connect insight to help inform performance and future strategy decisions
- Engaging with external practitioners and research trade bodies, making sure we remain up to date with the latest techniques and best practice
- Preparing materials to support insight led decisions at the highest level of the bank and demonstrate the impact on insight in action
The skills you'll need:
- Proven experience in tracking brand and reputation insight, consumers attitudes and perceptions, as well as market context
- The ability to challenge conventions, foster collaborations and inspire
- An understanding of external regulations and their impact on the customer and marketing strategy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with a track record of delivering against tight timescales and within budget
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends and patterns
- Excellent influencing skills and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels
