On behalf of Tesco Bank, AMS are now looking for a Controls Assurance Manager to work in their team based in Edinburgh for an initial contract length running to the end of December 2025. This role is hybrid with some flexibility around office attendance (2 days/week for those based locally, once/fortnight for those that need to travel from further afield).

The role will be critical in ensuring the effectiveness of SOX controls as the organisation integrates and optimises its processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of controls frameworks, overseeing testing, identifying deficiencies, and working with key stakeholders to enhance the bank's control framework.
Key responsibilities:- Oversee SOX control testing to assess design and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with finance, risk, audit, and business teams to ensure compliance with internal control requirements.
- Support control walkthroughs, ensuring appropriate documentation and evidence gathering.
- Provide insights on process improvements to strengthen controls and mitigate risks.
- Monitor compliance with SOX and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
