Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides everyday banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The bank's expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Remediation Customer Service Specialist for a 6 Month contract based in Manchester - 2 days per week on site, remainder working from home. The first two weeks of training will be within the office.

Purpose of the Role:

You will be joining a specialist Remediation team. You'll be working together to deliver the most successful outcomes for the business and our customers. You'll be responding to queries from customers promptly and tactfully within our SLAs.

As a Remediation Customer Service Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to complex customer queries and processing, authorising and investigating transactions.
  • Speaking directly with customers and businesses to collect and analyse the required information.
  • Participating in initiatives that help improve our customer service, processes and procedures.
  • Reviewing processing errors and customer complaints to help identify trends and training needs.
  • Delivering successful outcomes for your customers by investigating queries, completing administration tasks, supporting business processes and procedures, and understanding the needs of our customers and the business.
  • Working with a supportive and collaborative team, you'll be speaking to customers directly on the telephone on the back of direct mailings relating to Remediation activity.
  • Liaising with customers and businesses to accurately collect information in order to solve their queries.

  • Financial services experience is desirable.
  • Remediation experience is desirable.
