We are currently working with our client, Royal London, who are looking for a Power Pages Developer for an initial 6 month contract based hybrid (50% onsite) in London. Royal London is the UK’s largest mutual life, pensions and investment company, owned by our members and working for their benefit.
Purpose of the Role: The purpose of this role is to contribute to the adoption, build, implementation, testing and maintenance of Power Pages. The Power Pages Developer may also actively contribute to development and integration of the wider power platform toolset, which covers Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
Responsibilities:
- Actively contributing to the development of cutting-edge solutions within Microsoft Power Pages and the wider Power Platform ecosystem.
- Collaborating with internal business stakeholders and translating complex business requirements into robust and scalable applications.
- Collaborating with project teams and internal development teams to integrate applications and data sources with enterprise solutions.
- Designing and defining approved and best fit solutions within existing architecture and business process flow.
- Leading resolution of intricate technical challenges with a can-do approach, leveraging expertise to maintain the highest standards of technical delivery.
- Strongly adhering to quality assurance measures to improve code quality and route to production.
Requirements:
- Practical experience of implementing business solutions in various technology environments.
- A strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle.
- Practical development experience of creating rich external-facing Power Pages for data capture and integration with downstream systems.
- A working knowledge of Power Pages software and architecture.
- Understanding of Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, Microsoft Co-Pilot Studio and Connectors.
- Demonstrated practical experience of MS 365 Office integration and Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of CoE toolkit and ALM Accelerator or ALM principles within Power Platform.
Desirable criteria:
- Experience working with front end technologies such as HTML, Javascript, Typescript, jQuery, CSS, Fluent UI, PCF controls development, AngularJS / React JS.
- Experience within a financial/banking/regulatory environment.
