On behalf of PwC, we are looking for a Quantity Surveyor for a 12 week contract based in London or Birmingham hybrid. We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial and contractual delivery of a major infrastructure construction package. The role involves managing costs, contracts, and commercial reporting while working closely with site teams.
What you'll do:
- Cost & Commercial Management: Support cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and value tracking. Measure and assess works on site to support valuations and payment applications.
- Contract Administration: Maintain accurate contract records and commercially compliant documentation.
- Stakeholder & Site Coordination: Work closely with engineers, planners, construction teams, and subcontractors.
The skills you'll need:
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure, civil engineering, or major construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and site information.
- Confident managing subcontract packages, valuations, and variations.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
