We are looking for a Finance Analyst for a 12 month contract based in Bristol on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs. Purpose of the role: In this role, you will be working on Business As Usual (BAU) tasks for the UK facility. This includes liaising with programme managers, conducting thorough investigations, and performing detailed forecasting activities. Additionally, you will participate in meetings both face-to-face and via video calls, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. As a Finance Analyst you will be responsible for: Actuals reporting including journal preparation, variance analysis, updating the Scorecard and reconciling to source data. Fixed asset audits, locating assets, taking records, updating asset register throughout. Balance Sheet management, including completing balance sheet reconciliations, audit reviews and answering questions from PWC, EFSC (European Finance Service Centre), and HQ where required. Supporting the MA&T (Manufacturing, Assembly & Test) capital process including fixed asset audit and reconciliations. Inventory reporting, movements, surplus scrap and WIP. Preparing and populating budget/forecasting models using key inputs from various business contacts, challenging inputs, using HFM, and preparing business review packs with meaningful business commentaries for review with the FBP MA&T. Understanding and influencing the key drivers providing training/coaching to the business teams where necessary. Providing support to the FBP MA&T, and limited ad hoc analysis where required.
