On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs, we are looking for a Polisher Operator for a 12 Month contract based in Derby - 3 shift pattern - Days, Evenings & Nights.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Polisher Operator to support the manufacturing of Turbine Blades. The team are focussed on the production of Turbine Blades, using manufacturing processes and associated documentation within a high-volume environment. Our client is at the cutting edge of civil aviation, developing the next generation of sustainable travel.
As a Polisher Operator you will be responsible for:
- Inspection of parts using appropriate plant, equipment and techniques ranging all programmes within Civil Aerospace.
- Working to approved process/inspection procedure and drawings.
- Checking priorities and owning the commitments for turnaround of jobs.
- Aiding the team in routine control checks for the area.
- Continually looking for and highlighting efficiency improvements.
- Ensuring full compliance with FOD & Segregation policy.
- Booking non-conformances and conforming parts through the local booking system.
