Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides everyday banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The bank's expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate Banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.
On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Project Analyst for a 10 month contract based in Edinburgh with remote working available (hybrid).
Purpose of the role:
To support the transformation of Everyday Banking products by contributing to the design, build, and delivery of the project scope within agreed time, cost, quality, and risk parameters. It's a highly collaborative role and you'll be working closely with others in the project and wider teams to achieve strategic goals, and developing a positive working relationship with stakeholders across a range of functions and franchises.
What you'll do:
- Support the business requirements process and maintain a consistent approach for capturing requirements aligned to organisational objectives.
- Determine resource needs in accordance with project plans.
- Monitor, report, and contribute to the realisation of project benefits.
- Manage or provide oversight of project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
- Perform data analysis as required, based on experience and project needs.
The skills you'll need:
- Proven experience in change management, with strong knowledge of the full project lifecycle.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan and manage workload effectively and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Background in delivering project analysis within an Agile environment.
- Experience supporting and using project management tools.
- Ability to manage or provide assurance over project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
- Capability to perform data analysis as required.
- Oversight and understanding of relevant technologies.
