AMS is supporting a leading global consulting firm in hiring an experienced Data Engineer for an initial 12-month contract. (Offices in London/Birmingham/Bristol)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reliable data pipelines using Python and SQL.
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into databases and data warehouses.
- Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure accurate and reliable data.
- Troubleshoot data issues and resolve pipeline failures efficiently.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver effective data solutions and improve data processes.
Essential Criteria
- Strong experience using Python for data processing and automation.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, including writing complex queries and data manipulation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve data-related issues.
- This is a client facing environment so excellent collaboration and communication skills with teams and clients alike, is imperative.
