Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides everyday banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The bank's expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate Banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.
On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Risk Insights & Reporting Manager for a 12-month contract based in London/Edinburgh/Manchester/Birmingham. It will be a hybrid model.
Purpose of the Role: As a Risk Insights & Reporting Manager, you'll be responsible for analysing complex data sets, identifying trends, and forming clear, evidence-based conclusions that enable informed decision making. You'll work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the business, building trusted partnerships that help embed a strong risk culture and ensure risk management processes are well understood and consistently applied.
As a Risk Insights & Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Data Analysis & Insight: Conduct detailed data analysis to identify emerging themes, risks, and opportunities. Translate findings into clear, actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Partnership & Collaboration: Engage proactively with key contributors across the business, including Risk teams, Control partners, and operational leaders, to ensure risks are well understood and managed effectively. Build strong working relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
- Reporting & Communication: Produce high-quality reports, dashboards, and written summaries that convey risk insights clearly and succinctly. Tailor reporting for Senior Management audiences, ensuring relevance, clarity, and impact.
- Follow-Up & Challenge: Track progress against agreed risk actions, follow up with responsible owners, and challenge where necessary to ensure timely remediation. Provide constructive feedback and support continuous improvement across risk processes.
