On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs, we are looking for a number of Process Operators/Polishers for a 12 months contract based in Barnoldswick.
Job description - the role
Purpose of the role: To support customer delivery schedules, we are seeking associates to join our Process teams across several key areas, including Surface Preparation and Finishing for both Part 21 and Part 145 (MRO) fan blades, as well as the Diffusion Bonding Team responsible for manufacturing the silk screens used within the DB/SPF fan blade production process.
What you’ll do:
- Polish fan blades and re‑define leading‑edge contours.
- Work to and maintain high standards for the work environment.
- Follow Manufacturing Instructions (M.I.s) and Technical Instructions (T.I.s).
- Interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Maintain focus on facility integrity and the quality of products produced, including silk screens.
- Be willing and able to be trained across all aspects of both the Silk Screen process and Surface Preparation & Finishing.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of new and existing processes.
- Work in accordance with RRPS principles.
