Financial Accountant (Possible temp to perm)

• Exeter / Hybrid
• £40,000 – £45,000 (DOE)
• Initially 3 months, with potential to go permanent

We are recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join a well-established organisation initially for three months but with the possibility of going permanent, to support the finance team during a busy period and beyond.

This is a hybrid role, ideally based in or around Exeter, although candidates living slightly further afield may be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the month-end close process
• Preparing and posting journals
• Delivering financial analysis and reporting
• Supporting the Financial Controller with day-to-day accounting activity
• Providing audit support
• Managing client funds and completing detailed reconciliations

About You

• Proven experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role
• Technology/software industry experience would be very beneficial
• Strong attention to detail and confidence working with reconciliations
• Comfortable working at pace and supporting senior finance stakeholders
• Available to start at short notice or within the next few weeks
