HR Officer / Manager PERMANENT ROLE c£35,000 + Benefits and excellent development opportunities 37.5 HOURS / Hybrid after probation – 4 days office and 1 day at home Bristol / Office Based / FREE ON-SITE PARKING The Job: Working in the sports industry this role will play a key role in shaping our clients HR strategy. You will have excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of HR systems and processes to ensure effective management of human resources functions. They are looking for an individual who enjoys fostering a positive workplace culture and possesses the necessary skills to lead their HR initiative. Day to day responsibilities. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with organisational goals Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews using ATS systems such as Taleo or Workday Oversee employee onboarding and training programmes to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company Supervise HR staff and provide guidance on best practices in human resource management Conduct data analysis to inform HR decisions and improve workforce efficiency Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations Address employee relations issues by fostering open communication and resolving conflicts in a timely manner Collaborate with management to develop strategies for talent retention and employee engagement initiatives The Person: Proven experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a managerial capacity Familiarity with HR software such as PeopleSoft, Workday, or other HRIS platforms is essential Strong data analysis skills to interpret workforce metrics and inform decision-making processes Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels of the organisation Demonstrated ability to supervise teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously A thorough understanding of employment law and best practices in human resources management is highly desirable The Hou rs: 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm with 1 hour break for lunch The Benefi ts: 25 days holiday per annum + Bank Holidays (Should the role go permanent they offer an Auto Enrolment compliant pension scheme with NEST; the current minimum contributions are 5% employee and 3% employer.
