We are recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join a well-established organisation initially for three months but with the possibility of going permanent, to support the finance team during a busy period and beyond.
This is a hybrid role, ideally based in or around Exeter, although candidates living slightly further afield may be considered.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting the month-end close process
- Preparing and posting journals
- Delivering financial analysis and reporting
- Supporting the Financial Controller with day-to-day accounting activity
- Providing audit support
- Managing client funds and completing detailed reconciliations
- Proven experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role
- Technology/software industry experience would be very beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with reconciliations
- Comfortable working at pace and supporting senior finance stakeholders
- Available to start at short notice or within the next few weeks
