The Role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an HR Generalist. This is on a 24 month contract which could be extended. This is an exciting opportunity to support a major construction project, with a particular focus on the implementation and management of Construction Local Labour Agreements (CLLAs). Reporting to the HR Manager, you will lead on community engagement, recruitment projects, and diversity and inclusion initiatives linked to the project.
Responsibilities within this role will include:
- Manage the implementation of the organisations CLLA commitments.
- Monitor and report on progress, including regular updates to the HR Manager.
- Build strong working relationships with key external stakeholders, including local authorities and education providers.
- Organise and host site visits, careers fairs, and other engagement events.
- Work with contractors to ensure they understand and contribute to CLLA objectives.
- Represent the organisation at external events and public-relations opportunities.
- Launch and support projects focused on diversity and inclusion.
The Person
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, highly organised, and passionate about community engagement and inclusive employment practices. You will be confident managing multiple workstreams and building effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key requirements include:
- 2 years experience in a similar HR or project-focused role.
- HR degree or equivalent qualification.
- Strong organisational and project-management skills.
- Driving Licence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competence in the use of HR software systems.
The Salary
£30-35,000 (pro-rata if part time)
The Hours & Contract:
Fixed-term contract for 24 months. 2035 hours per week across 5 days, with flexibility to attend site visits and external events as required.
The Location
South Bristol, with occasional travel to other company locations. (monthly travel to Belfast)
