We are currently working with a successful and growing multi-site service business based in Newport to help them find an experienced HR Manager.

The company

Our client is an established and growing business operating across England and Wales, with a network of sites supporting both individual and business customers. The Newport location is home to the company's head office and a number of central support functions, with the wider business operating across multiple locations. This is a people-focused, commercially minded organisation offering a varied environment for an HR professional who enjoys working closely with managers and employees across a multi-site business.

The role

This is an exciting opportunity for a people-focused HR professional with a strong grounding in employee relations, HR compliance and policy, who enjoys working in a varied and hands-on environment.

As HR Manager, you will provide HR support across the organisation, working closely with managers and employees across multiple sites. There will be some travel to other locations, so the role would suit someone who enjoys being visible and building strong relationships across a geographically dispersed workforce. xsabvtc

You will play an important role in developing the employee experience, strengthening HR processes and supporting the business as it continues to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Providing expert guidance and support to managers and employees on a range of HR matters

  • Managing and resolving complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters

  • Supporting managers with conflict resolution and providing practical, commercially focused HR advice

  • Leading the development, implementation and ongoing review of HR policies and procedures

  • Ensuring employee records are accurate, compliant and appropriately maintained

  • Developing and delivering employee engagement initiatives
