Recruiter - 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Hybrid working - 3 days per week onsite
We are working with an established organisation to recruit an experienced Recruiter / Talent Acquisition professional to join their in-house recruitment team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a fast-paced role focused on delivering high-volume recruitment across manufacturing and operational functions, working closely with hiring managers to attract and secure high-quality talent. You will manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously and play a key role in ensuring an excellent candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume recruitment campaigns across manufacturing and operational functions
- Deliver the full recruitment process from advertising and sourcing through to offer and onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies
- Source, attract and assess candidates using a range of recruitment channels and direct sourcing techniques
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future recruitment needs
- Coordinate interviews, assessments and selection processes
- Provide a professional and positive candidate experience through timely communication
- Manage vacancies, candidate records and recruitment reporting using Workday
- Monitor recruitment performance and provide insights to improve hiring outcomes and process efficiency
- Ensure recruitment activity meets relevant legislation, policies and compliance requirements
- Support recruitment projects and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition (in house experience is essential)
- Significant experience of high-volume recruitment, ideally within manufacturing, production, engineering or another industrial environment
- Experience managing multiple recruitment campaigns and working to challenging targets
- Strong candidate sourcing and attraction skills
- Experience partnering with hiring managers
- Good knowledge of recruitment best practice, employment legislation and compliance
- Experience using Workday recruitment technology is advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised, resilient and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- Happy to travel between two sites (an hour apart)
